Good afternoon,

Spring is in full bloom at Buckeye with just five more days until Spring Break! It’s hard to believe that we just have 35 days left in this school year. That being said, we have a ton going on. This Wednesday we have our school Variety Show. The performance during the day is just for staff and students and our night performance at 6:00 is for everyone else.  Thank you, Mrs. Forman and Mrs. McClure, for putting this opportunity together for our school.

On Friday, we will be sending progress reports home to any students that may be at risk of not meeting grade level standard by the end of the year in a particular subject. This doesn’t apply to students on an IEP.  Let your child’s teacher or myself know if you have any questions.

Finally, we are updating our iReady assessments. This week we completed the math diagnostic and next week, we will be completing the language arts diagnostic. We’ll send reports home after the break so you can see your child’s progress.

Remember, our Spring Break is from April 14-21. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 22nd. Have a great break and happy Easter.
